Fundraising
We would love you to get involved and help us raise vital funds so that we can continue to award grants to vulnerable children, young people and adults. We have recently awarded grants to individuals and groups across the United Kingdom with grants going towards funding vital equipment such as Duke of Edinburgh, sports, arts, crafts and books as well as grants to continue to provide important support groups to children, and young people and adults.
No matter how big or small your fundraising donation is we feel privileged to receive it and you will be helping a child, young person or adult achieve their dreams.
How to Donate
Fundraising Ideas
The list of ways you can fundraise is endless but our trustees have chosen their favourite way to fundraise to give you a little helping hand if you are stuck on what to do.
Marathon Month
Run or walk the distance of a marathon in a month and raise money for the Dream Big Trust. You choose how. Walk a mile a day or run a few miles every weekend. Alone time on your favourite route or with friends in the park. Download our mile tracker to keep track of the miles you complete each day.
Bake Big
Throw a cake sale and coffee morning and raise money for the Dream Big Trust. Set the date and time and choose your venue at home, work or school. If everyone bakes at least one tasty treat, and you arrange the teas and coffees, you can charge for the cakes. Everyone brings a cake, some loose change and some good chat. Why not throw the best cake competition for a bit of drama (no store-bought winners allowed)!
Homemade Craft Sale
If you have always had a love for crafts or found yourself enjoying this hobby in the recent lockdowns why not create your own homemade craft sale. If your love for crafts has left you with no room to store them and no one else to gift them you could sell these at a school craft sale or in an online format with donations going to The Dream Big Trust.
Sporting Challenge
If you enjoy kicking, dribbling or bouncing a ball, then why not organise a sponsored sports challenge? Not only is this a great way to enjoy yourself with friends and colleagues, by simply pushing yourself further or holding a tournament, it can also be a superb way to raise funds for a great cause.
Have fun with your clothes!
If you like to don a costume for Halloween, dress down for work or even turn up to the office in PJs, then why not do this for a good cause. By organising a day with a theme, you could ask colleagues to make a small contribution – you could even make a competition of it and have a prize for the winner.
